Vattenjagen
3/4 2025
a speculative design project
Meet Vattenjagen
Warm welcome to MEET VATTENJAGEN from 30 APRIL to 4 MAY.
The project, Vattenjagen, is a speculative design project that proposes a future where we, humanity, are capable of speaking directly to our bodies of water through a Liminal Contact Interface. This proposed future also includes an institution, The Liminal Council, where more-than-humans and humans collaborate in caring for our water ecosystems. This project as a whole suggests a shift in focus from mainly caring about metrics of water to care that invokes our emotional connections to our water bodies.
Vattenjagen is a VINNOVA funded project creating a speculative prototype motivating sustainable futures of food systems. It was created by Studio Alight & Point Strategic Design and collaborating with Therese Parodi of Kävlingeåns Vattenråd, and Thomas Laurien, HDK-Valand.
